Fire Ban Notice – Effective Immediately
Rural Municipality of Kindersley No. 290

Effective immediately, a fire ban is in place for the RM of Kindersley No. 290. This measure is being implemented to ensure public safety and protect property due to heightened fire risk.

Permitted Exceptions:

Propane/gas barbecues
Gas fire pits
Incinerators

Prohibited Activities:

All open fires
Discharge of fireworks (strictly prohibited)

This fire ban will remain in effect until further notice.

As of 7AM May 23 2025

ROAD 3212 WHICH IS THE NETHERHILL GRID FROM THE 302 EAST TO THE 657 IS STILL RESTRICTED TO 10 TON TILL FURTHER NOTICE.

All division’s are now now open with primary weight permits to primary weights. Except for the one restriction above.

No mud from lease roads to be brought up on to the grid roads

Shoulders of the grid roads are soft in the listed areas be very careful

Update as May 19 2025

At 6 AM on May 19 2025 all Divisions are open to Primary Weights, With a Primary weight permit.

Road Construction Updates

Fairmount Road (TWP RD 290)

The municipality will be undertaking road stabilization on TWP RD 290 2 1/2 miles west of highway 21. Starting the week of May 19th for approximately 2 weeks.

Intersection of Rosana Road and Range Road 3232

Starting on June 1st, 2025 the municipality will be undertaking road construction from the intersection of Rosana Road (TWP RD 280) 1.1KM north on RR 3232. Construction will last for approximately 2 weeks.
