Roads in the RM of Kindersley #290 that are dry or frozen are now open to secondary weight.

As of April 8th – All roads in the RM of Kindersley #290 will closed to heavy haul traffic from 10AM until Midnight. Outside of these hours heavy haul is ONLY permitted if the road is dry or frozen. This will remain in effect until further notice.

Until further notice all heavy loaded trucks should be off the grid roads by 1pm daily.

Road Bans will be starting at 12:01AM March 23, 2023. As of then all roads in the Kindersley RM will be secondary weight until future notice.

Oil companies will require fluid hauling permits and if needed special circumstance forms will need to be completed.

Range Road 3190 from Highway #7 to the D’arcy railway tracks will be closed. Use the detour south off HWY #7 on RR 3191, through the town of D’arcy to RR 3190 then south on RR 3190.

RM 290 ratepayers a few reminders to assist with snow removal.

• When clearing your lanes please keep a wide approach area coming into your yards.
• When opening lease roads keep at least 150 feet back from road and approaches.
• When installing a snow fence along a grid road please install 200 feet from road allowance.
• Do not push snow across the grid roads into the ditch and leave it there for the snow to gather and form drifts. Please push it at least 150 feet away from the road where possible.

The above information are suggestions to keep your roads open, when the wind blows the roads fill in very quickly and creates problems for all in the RM.

As of 5pm on Nov 4th, 2022 the Pinkham Bridge on Range Road 3253 south of HWY 7 is open. The crossing is rough so please use caution.

Effective Immediately – The bridge on the Pinkham Grid Road Range Road 3253 south of HWY 7 is closed to all traffic. You must use the detour provided.

Division 2 – The 658 South of Netherhill to the 2 mile road TWP 290 will be closed on Thursday, Oct 27th from 7:30am until 5:00pm. Please use the detour shown below RR 3211 south to TWP 290.
