***TRAVEL ON DRY/ FROZEN TRACK ONLY AT ALL TIMES***

EFFECTIVE:  Monday MARCH 21st @12:01 a.m.  BAN WEIGHTS ARE IN EFFECT on all roads within the RM of Kindersley No.290 including the heavy haul roads (clearing the path) **Brock North and South/ Flaxcombe South and Rosana road**

The restriction does not apply to:
•Emergency vehicles;
•Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure vehicles and municipal maintenance equipment when conducting maintenance or accessing sites on or along the restricted highway;
•SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel vehicles when accessing sites along the restricted route;
•Recreational vehicles;
•Buses;
•Farm Equipment operated or towed;
•Vehicles directly crossing Provincial Highway No. 8-06-40(Tantallon Access) at an intersecting public highway or private road.

ALL HEAVY HAUL TRAFFIC 10 TON AND OVER
ONLY SERVICES WORKING FOR BONDED COMPANIES ARE ALLOWED TO TRAVEL DURING ROAD BANS.

*The Bonded Companies should have the package required sent out to those needing them for movement*

All Services hauling fluid must be at Ban Weight and have a permit number with them (that you will receive daily) at all times while travelling.

Steering Axle 10.0 kg per mm (560 pounds per inch) width of tire (manufacturer’s stamped dimension) to a maximum of 5,500 kg on the steering axle for a truck equipped with a single steering axle. 11,000 kg on the steering axle group for a truck equipped with a tandem axle steering group
Other Axles 6.25 kg per mm (350 pounds per inch) width of tire (manufacturer’s stamped dimension) to a maximum of 1,650 kg (3,638 pounds) per tire.

Permits Numbers will be issued to Bonded Company Monday to Friday between 9:00 am – 4:00pm and Saturday’s / Sunday’s permits need to be in with Friday’s requests. This will be the process until break up is finished for your services.
All routes need to be put on the FIRST PERMIT for the location with route using closest highway to location. CONSECUTIVE PERMITS for route to location put NO CHANGE on route. However if routes changes due to road conditions please notify on that permit and adjust according.

Haulers are to use the route given to you to and from your location at all times!

AGRICULTURAL/ OILFIELD AND OTHERS:
Special Circumstance Permits may be issued on a per job with a route to location and must be authorized by:

ALL MUD BUGGY ACTIVITY (See rules and regulations for mud buggies) will be monitored and looked after by the councillor of that division.  We also expect that the mud buggies should be supervised by a representative of the oil company. Bylaw Enforcement Officer David Burke will be forwarding that permit to the councillor for approval on routes to be used at all times.  Mud Buggies are being monitored very closely throughout the RM.
No travel on any RM roads at any time.  They need to be hauled to locations and properly marked when working in the RM.  If Buggies are found not properly marked with company they are working for or travelling where they are not authorized to, there will be a $1,000.00 fine for the first offence.

ABSOLUTELY NO LOADING ON ANY OF OUR ROADS  FOR ANYONE INCLUDING HAULERS AND MUD BUGGIES

We are making extra patrols with extra staff at all hours especially during this time!
There is no cost for permits for services working for Bonded Companies during breakup and you need to have permit number with you at all times. There will be a cost for permits of $120.00 plus GST for all others not working for Bonded Companies. This will depend on work to be done and roads being used to travel during Road Bans.
If incidences should occur on the weekend you may need to contact the division Councillors during this time.

Travel on dry or frozen roads only!
Anyone caught destroying a road will be responsible for the cost of repairs to the road.
OTHER RESTRICTIONS MAY BE PUT ON DURING THE BANS DEPENDING ON HOW ROADS ARE HOLDING UP AS WELL AS WEATHER CONDITIONS!
