FIRE BAN – April 26th, 2021

Please be advised that the RM of Kindersley No. 290 has issued a

FIRE BAN EFFECTIVE

April 26th, 2021 at 12:00pm until further notice within the RM of Kindersley Boundaries.

All fires, including incinerators and fireworks are prohibited.

Failure to comply with the fire ban can result in a fine starting at $300.00 for the first offence.

All Roads within the RM of Kindersley are now at Secondary Weights.

Anyone caught destroying a road will be responsible for the cost of repairs to that road and could be subject up to a Twenty Five Thousand dollar fine ($25,000.00).

  • Please remember to slow down to 40km when passing a yardsite.
  • Travel on dry or frozen roads only!

***ALL ANNUAL PRIMARY WEIGHT PERMITS ARE VOID AT THIS TIME***

        ***TRAVEL ON DRY/ FROZEN TRACK ONLY AT ALL TIMES***

  BAN WEIGHTS ARE IN EFFECT on all roads within the RM of Kindersley No.290 including the heavy haul roads (clearing the path) **Brock North, Flaxcombe South and Rosana road**

 The restriction does not apply to:

  • Emergency vehicles;
  • Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure vehicles and municipal maintenance equipment when conducting maintenance or accessing sites on or along the restricted highway;
  • SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel vehicles when accessing sites along the restricted route;
  • Recreational vehicles;
  • Buses;

***Important Road Update*** March 15th, 2021

ALL HEAVY HAUL TRAFFIC 10 TON AND OVER

 

**Effective Noon (12:00pm) WEDNESDAY (March 17th) all annual primary weight permits will be void. **

All roads within the RM of Kindersley will be secondary weight.

This includes Brock Grid North (657), Rosana Road and Flaxcombe South Grids.

Travel is to be on “Dry or Frozen Roads only”

No mud is to be brought onto the grid at anytime.

Anyone caught destroying a road will be responsible for the cost of repairs to that road and could be subject up to a twenty five thousand dollar fine ($25,000.00).

With the plus temperatures that are being forecasted over the next few days, it is advised that you travel on the frost as much as possible.  Please avoid travel if the road is getting soft.
