As many of us in the community and surrounding areas are aware, the parking lots of our local Hospital and Manor have been in desperate need of repair for quite some time. The Hospital committee tried for years to reach out to the proper authorities to have these repairs done, but their requests went unheeded.
With the uneven pavement and pot holes it was becoming very dangerous for those having to use the facilities. It was time to make things happen! The R.M. of Kindersley spearheaded the “pavement project” which brought together the surrounding Rural Municipalities of Antelope Park, Oakdale, Milton, Newcombe and Prairiedale. The Town of Kindersley, the Kindersley District Co-op along with our neighboring Hutterite Colonies of Springfield, Smiley, Glidden, Eatonia and Eston all showed their support in a very significant way.
